Abstract:
Domestic chickens are important economic animals, providing people with meat, eggs and other agricultural and sideline products. It is of great significance to study the growth and development of domestic chickens, the improvement of meat and egg quality and the occurrance of diseases with the help of omics technology. In this paper, the principles of common omics analysis techniques, the methods and advantages of multi-omics combined analysis were summarized, and the research progress of multi-omics combined analysis in domestic chicken production, growth and development, meat and egg quality, disease and stress response was reviewed, in order to provide reference for breed selection, meat and egg quality improvement, disease mechanism and treatment in domestic chicken production process.
