Effects of compound enzyme MIX on production performance and egg quality of Jinghong No.1 commercial laying hens

  • In order to investigate the effects of compound enzyme MIX on the production performance and egg quality of Jinghong No.1 commercial layer chicken, a single factor comparison experiment design method was applied to this experiment. A total of 540 healthy commercial laying hens of Jinghong No.1 with uniform body weight and similar laying rate at 50 weeks were randomly divided into experimental group and control group with 6 replicates in each group and 45 chickens in each replicate. The chickens in the control group were fed with basal diet, and the chickens in the experimental group were fed with basal diet supplemented with 300 g/t compound enzyme MIX. The whole trial period was 9 weeks, including 1 week for the pre-test and 8 weeks for the pilot test. After the end of the experiment, the egg yield, average egg weight, average daily feed intake, feed egg ratio, soft broken egg rate, soft broken egg rate, dead amoy rate, and eggshell strength, eggshell thickness, eggshell color, Haugh unit and egg-shaped index of each group were measured and calculated. Economic benefits was calculated.The results showed that compared with the control group, the laying rate and average egg weight of experimental group increased(P>0.05); average daily feed intake, feed egg ratio and soft broken egg rate of the experimental group decreased(P>0.05); while the dead panning rate of the laying hens in the experimental group was significantly decreased(P<0.05).The eggshell strength and eggshell thickness in the experimental group were increased compared with those in the control group(P<0.05); the eggshell color、Haugh unit and egg shape index(P>0.05).During the trial period, each Jinghong No.1 laying hens made an extra profit of 0.16 yuan. The results indicated that the compound enzyme MIX could improve the production performance of Jinghong No.1 commercial laying hens, improve the quality of eggs, and increase the economic benefits of feeding.
