Research progress on the mechanism of chicoric acid regulation of immune system

  • Chicoric acid, also known as dicaffeine tartaric acid, is a caffeic acid derivative. It has important regulatory effects on the immune system, which can enhance body’s immunity, promote inherent immunity and adaptive immunity, improve immune cell function, regulate cytokines and antibodies, and regulate the growth and development of immune organs. This article mainly reviewed the mechanism of cicereic acid regulating immune system in order to provide reference for the development and application of cicereic acid in veterinary clinical immunity.
