Abstract
The widespread use of fluoroquinolone antibiotics(FQs) in livestock and poultry industry resulted in the spread of fluoroquinolone resistance genes(FRGs) in the environment, causing ecological risks to the environment. At present, aerobic composting is one of the effective methods to remove FRGs. Therefore, the author reviewed the influence of different factors(FQs, microbial communities, mobile genetic elements MGEs, environmental factors temperature, pH value, water content, C/N, electrical conductivity, etc. and heavy metals) in aerobic composting of livestock and poultry manure on the removal effect of FRGs aiming to provide a reference for the effective control of FRGs.
