Abstract: The purpose of the construction of new agricultural science is to cultivate a group of innovative talents in agricultural science and technology who can adapt to and lead the development of new technologies and industries. As an important teaching base for cultivating talents′ experimental and practical abilities, the national demonstration center for experimental education has played a crucial role. In order to improve the construction connotation of new agricultural science and to cultivate innovative agricultural talents that are in line with modern agriculture, the National Demonstration Center for Experimental Plant Science Education of Guangxi University is guided by multiple ways of cross integration and promotes the outcome baesed education（OBE） concept, creates five platforms, establishes two bases, constructs a three-level experimental practice teaching system and builds a high-level experimental teachers’ team. It has achieved good results in talent cultivation quality, teaching reform theoretical achievements, and first-class curriculum construction.
