Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to screen genes related to testicular development and detect their expression levels in different tissues of the same breed and different breeds and different testes of sheep, thus providing a scientific basis for studying the role of these genes in testicular development of sheep. Using Altay sheep and Bashbai sheep as materials, the differential expression of Altay sheep and Bashbai sheep was investigated by RT-qPCR.The results showed that the selected genes DGCR6 L, DDX24, ATP1 A4, GPS2, PITRM1, KIF20 B, and Artn were highly expressed in the epididymis of Altay sheep, and the other five genes were highly expressed in the epididymis of Bashbai sheep except GPS2 and Artn. It is preliminarily proved that seven genes affect the testicular development of sheep, which can provide data reference for improving reproductive capacity of rams, genetic mechanism of diseases such as testicular incomplete syndrome, and early breeding of excellent breeders such as cattle and sheep.
