Abstract:
ERF plays an important role in plant growth and development and in response to biotic stress. To further research the function of Fragaria nilgerrensis ERF genes, the F. nilgerrensis leaves were used to clone the gene FnERF017 by RT-PCR. The analysis of gene sequence and molecular characteristics showed that the full-length cDNA sequence of Fn ERF017 was 651 bp, encoding 216 amino acids with a conserved AP2/ERF domain. FnERF017 protein was a hydrophilic unstable protein. The phylogenetic tree analysis showed the FnERF017protein was highly homologous to Fragaria vesca ERF protein. Colletotrichum gloeosporiodes stress could induce up-regulation of FnERF017, Which indicated that it was in positive response to C. gloeosporiodes stress. The prediction of promoter cis acting elements showed that the promoter sequence pFnERF107 contained many types of cis acting elements, such as hormone response elements, and stress response elements. It provids a basis for further research on the function of Fn ERF017 gene.
