Abstract:
Floral plants are one of the most important part of horticultural plants, with rich germplasm resources. With the development of high-throughput sequencing technology, genomics research has become one of the hot sports in the study of floral plants. High quality genome sequences provide an important genic information foundation for the study of floral plants genome structure and function, origin and evolution, gene mapping and genetic improvement. This review introduces the research progress and application of floral plant genomes of Rosaceae, Asteraceae and Orchidaceae and other floral plants, the development prospects of flowering plants genomes was also prospected.
