Abstract:
In order to explore the cellular composition and to analyze the differences in characterization of epithelial cells in intestinal gastric cancer(IGC), single-cell transcriptome sequencing analysis(scRNA-seq) was used in this study. After dimensionality reduction, clustering and cell annotation, differential gene expression analysis, enrichment analysis, trajectory analysis and cellular communication analysis were used to explore the characteristics of IGC epithelial cells in terms of composition and distribution, function and status, and cellular interactions. The results showed that different patients had heterogeneity in the proportional distribution of epithelial cell types. Among them, the proportion of intestinal cells were significantly increased in tumor tissues, and intestinal cells had a higher copy number variation and oncogenic pathway activity. Intestinal cell subpopulations also differed in function and status. In cellular communication, there were active intercellular interactions between epithelial cells and different cell types. The study reveals the cell type composition of IGC and the heterogeneity of epithelial cell characteristics, provides preliminary evidence and theoretical basis for the development of new targets.
