Abstract:
Multi-omics has become one of the main means to study citrus plant. Systematic high-throughput omics technologies and bioinformatics analyses of citrus can help to deeply answer biological questions on the genetic mechanism, gene regulation, metabolic pathway, growth and development, response to environmental stress in citrus, providing information support for citrus molecular breeding and quality improvement. This study review current research progresses and applications in aspects of genome, transcriptome, proteome, metabolome, epigenome, phenome and microbiome of citrus plants, and discuss the development prospects of related research.
