Abstract:
During plant growth and development, flowering and stress responses are crucial events. Vascular plant one-zinc finger(VOZ) transcription factor is a type of plant transcription factor in vascular plant and moss plant. It was identified in Arabidopsis tha-liana in 2004 and has been proven to play an important role in flowering and stress responses. This article introduced the structural characteristics of VOZ transcription factors and the distribution of VOZ gene members in different species. We also summarized the expression patterns of VOZ genes in different species and their functions in plant growth and development, including flower induction and fruit development promotion, improving plant tolerance to biotic stress, reducing plant resistance to abiotic stress, and regulating seed germination. In addition, we elucidated the molecular mechanisms by which VOZ transcription factors interact with related proteins in different regulatory pathways to exert their functions. This article summarized the molecular mechanisms by which VOZ transcription factors play different functions, aiming to provide assistance to researchers in the fields of plant flowering and stress and lay a theoretical foundation for further research.
