The Role of Neutrophil-derived Extracellular Vesicle in Disease Development

  • Neutrophil-derived extracellular vesicle(EV) mediates intercellular communication by carrying proteins, nucleic acids, lipids, and various cytokines. Neutrophil-derived EV plays important role in the development of inflammation, vascular-related diseases, and tumor progression. This article focuses on reviewing the generation mechanism of neutrophil-derived EV, its role in diseases, and discusses the potential advantages of targeted induction and cultivation of neutrophil-derived EV as novel therapeutic strategies.
