Abstract:
Acrylpimaric acid was prepared from rosin through Diels-Alder addition reaction, then series of diacylthiourea derivatives containing acrylpimaryl group were synthesized. Their structures were characterized by IR, NMR, MS, and elemental analysis. The antibacterial activity of diacylthiourea derivatives against Gram-negative bacteria and Gram-positive bacteria were also investigated. The results indicated that diacylthiourea derivatives displayed extensive anti-bacterial activity against Gram-negative bacteria and Gram-positive bacteria. Especially, compared with commercial anti-bacterial agent(bromogeramine), compound 4f exhibits superior anti-bacterial activity against Escherichia coli(Gram-negative bacteria).
