Abstract:
The properties of mechanical strength, thermal stability and electrical insulation of the epoxy resin cured with hydrogenated terpinene maleic anhydride (HTMA) and their main influencing factors were investigated. It was shown from the experiment results that the cured epoxy resin had good mechanical properties, thermal stability and electrical insulation. The mechanical property and thermal stability of cured epoxy resin were closely related to the chemical structure of hydrogenated terpinene maleic anhydride. The electrical insulation properties of epoxy resins cured with alicyclic anhydrides of different chemical structures were similar.
