Abstract:
The active constituents of Ilex latifolia Thunb. were extracted by steam distillation extraction (SDE), ethanolic extraction(EE), ultrasonic wave extraction(UWE), microwave-assisted extraction (MAE), and supercritical carbon dioxide extraction (SCDE) and the extraction yields were: 0.048%, 0.011%, 0.631%, 0.522% and 0.935%, respectively. Then their constituents (10 compounds (SDE), 9 compounds (EE), 12 compounds (UWE), 9 compounds (MAE) and 20 compounds (SCDE)) were assayed by GC-MS. All active constituents showed antioxidant activity in vitro. In the assay an activity order of active constituents could be established: SCDE>UWE>SDE>EE>MAE.
