Abstract: Qualitative and quantitative analyses of each important component in synthetic pine oil and commercial pine oil had been carried out with GC-MS. Through the experiments on flotation with different samples,the barbotage of each component in the pine oil for flotation was revealed. Cineoles and monohydric alcohols were proved to be effective components,which showed good synergistic effect. At the ratio of their contents 0.39-1.0, flotation effect was the best, which was superior than that of commercial pine oil.
