Abstract: The paper reviewed the advances in the research of azadirachtin on isolation and purification technology such as countercurrent chromatography, flash chromatography and vacuum chromatography; analysis technology of immunosorbent assay, colorimetric assay and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(LC-MS).A great advance on total synthesis of azadirachtin was first achieved in past years.
