Abstract: In the present paper a new species of sawflies from China is described, which is an important destructive forest insect pest of Liriod-endron chinense (Hemsl.) Sarg. The type specimens are kept in the collection of forest insects in the Research Institute of Forestry, CAF. Megabeleses liriodendrovbrax n. sp.
