Abstract:
In order to study the influence of various motion parameters of the air-suction duckbill seed metering device on the seed-introduction process, this experiment used the discrete element analysis software EDEM to perform simulation analysis and conducted a quadratic orthogonal combination experiment. The test results showed that the rotation speed of the seed metering device had a greater influence on the qualified index than the angle of the stop groove, and the distance between the suction holes had a smaller influence on the qualified index. Design Expert software was used to process the data and obtain the optimal parameter combination of various factors in the seed-introduction stage. When the rotation speed was 6.19rad/s, the angle of the stop groove was 13.77° and the distance between the suction holes was 94.45mm, the qualified index was 96.17%, and the missing seed index was 3.69%.
