Abstract:
In recent years, the annual increase of global greenhouse gas emissions has led to the increase of global temperature. As the second largest greenhouse gas in the world after carbon dioxide, methane emissions have brought about a greenhouse effect equivalent to 25 times of CO~2. The greenhouse effect caused by the increase of methane concentration from livestock and poultry emissions has attracted more and more global attention. In the process of animal husbandry in the agricultural field, the amount of methane released from beef steaks is mostly, while the methane emission from cowshed mainly comes from the anaerobic decomposition of organic substances such as intestinal fermentation, burping and farting, or feces. Methane emission reduction is one of the effective ways to reduce the global greenhouse effect, and the accuracy of methane monitoring in cowshed is the basis for methane emission reduction. Therefore, in order to improve the dual benefits of animal husbandry economy and environment, the research situation of methane concentration monitoring technology in cowshed at home and abroad is briefly reviewed.
