Abstract:
In order to realize the joint work of seed supply and seeding system of sugarcane planting machine, an inverted triangular-shaped seed collection box was designed and its parameters were optimized so that the seeds would not be disordered, stuck or blocked during the process from seed supply system to seed system. By analyzing the movement of seeds in the seed collection box and EDEM motion simulation, the movement mechanism of seeds and the factors affecting the order of seed drop were investigated. Through the single-factor experiments and orthogonal experiments in the workshop, the effects of seed drop height, tilt angle of seed guide plate and seed collection volume on seed orderly rate and seed filling rate were studied. The results of the platform experiments show that seed drop height and seed collection volume have extremely significant effects on seed drop orderly rate, and tilt angle of seed guide plate has a significant effect. For the seed filling rate, seed drop height has an extremely significant effect, seed collection volume has a significant effect, and tilt angle of seed guide plate has an insignificant effect. The optimal combination of factors are determined to obtain more optimal the qualification rate based on the orthogonal experiments, that is, the seed drop height is 200mm, the seed plate is tilted at an angle of 45°, and the amount of seed collected is 25.
