Abstract: Fruit shaping and pruning plays an important role in orchard ventilation and light transmission, reducing the incidence of diseases and pests, adjusting fruit quality and stabilizing fruit yield. It is a particularly important link in orchard production and management process, and it has strong seasonality and needs more labor.By analyzing the research and application status of pruning technology and equipment at home and abroad, This paper discusses the working principle of pruning machinery and the existing problems of pruning machinery, and finally analyzes the development trend of fruit pruning machinery.
