Parameter Optimization and Test of Pull Stem Roller Oil Sunflower Header

  • In order to effectively improve the harvest performance of the oil sunflower header, in view of the current oil sunflower header device’s low working efficiency, lost disk and high loss rate, combined with the characteristics of oil sunflower planting, this paper designs a stem-pull roller oil sunflower header. First, the overall structure and working principle of the machine are explained. Then, according to theoretical analysis and preliminary tests, it was determined that the forward speed, the rotation speed of the stem roller, and the inclination angle of the crop divider were the test factors, and the oil sunflower seed loss rate was the target value, using Design-expert data The processing software performed a response surface optimization analysis on its target value. The significant sequence that affected the target value was: stem roller rotation speed X2> grain divider inclination X3> forward speed X1, and the optimization analysis and experimental verification results showed: when current forward speed X1 was 2.10 km/h, the rotation speed of the stem-drawing roller X2 was 860 r/min, and the inclination angle X3 of the divider was 36°, the oil sunflower seed loss rate Y was 2.40%. The relative error between the experimental value and the optimized result was 2.40 less than 5%, which met the requirements of oil sunflower harvesting platform.
