Abstract
Due to the current Hami melon peeled mainly by manual peeling, not only the efficiency is low, but also there are some health and safety problems, which seriously hindered the innovation and development of Hami melon products of related enterprises. In order to reduce the labor intensity of workers, improve the current efficiency of Hami melon peeling, and improve the degree of mechanization and automation of Hami melon peeling, this paper designs a double knife automatic peeling machine for Hami melon based on the physical characteristics of rough and hard peel of Hami melon. The outer knife of the peeler can adjust the peeling thickness of 1-5 mm, and the inner knife can adjust the peeling thickness of 3-15 mm. The double blade combination mechanism composed of serrated inner knife and outer knife can adapt to different varieties of Hami melon. Through design and calculation, the elongation of profiling spring is 40.68 mm, and the holding force of fruit holding clamp is greater than 51.96 N. In order to determine the best combination of the key factors affecting the peeling effect of Hami melon, the orthogonal test was used to analyze the data, and SPSS software was used to analyze the correlation between the test results, and the best factor level combination was A2B2C1.
