Abstract:
The current multi-species seed drying technology can meet the needs of different varieties and small batches of seed breeding, this study aims to explore and analyze the energy consumption of multi-species seed modular drying units and the internal physical parameters of the drying medium. Based on the factors of seed quality, drying air temperature and drying speed inside the modular drying unit of multi-species seeds, the relevant parameters of its heat source and fan are analyzed and calculated. The results show that the power of the electromagnetic hot air furnace of a multi-species seed modular drying unit is 5 kW, the flow rate of the fan is 412~859 m3/h, and the full pressure is 507~310 Pa. The results of the study provide technical reference and theoretical reference for the subsequent development of multi-species seed drying technology.
