Abstract: Pomegranate, as a characteristic industry of Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province, has a planting history exceeding 2 000 years, with a planting area surpassing 8 000 hm², and exhibits obvious regional characteristics．Based on research conducted across all stages of pomegranate industry in Zaozhuang City, development current status in primary industry, secondary industry, tertiary industry, science and technology innovation, and brand building were analyzed．Future suggestions were put forward to address existing problems, with aim of providing support for pomegranate industry development in Zaozhuang City．
