Abstract:
Vegetable plug seedling cultivation and mechanized transplanting are crucial methods for increasing vegetable yields and reducing labor costs.Traditional semi-automatic transplanters still require manual seedling retrieval and placement, resulting in high labor intensity and low efficiency, making them unsuitable for large-scale production demands.Fully automatic transplanters, which integrate mechanical, pneumatic, sensors, and control systems to achieve full automation of seedling delivery, picking, and placement, have become a research hotspot.Based on seedling delivery methods, these machines were categorized into conveyor belt-type and chain-type systems.According to seedling picking mechanisms, they were categorized into gripper-type, plug-type, combined ejection-gripper-type, and machine vision-type systems.Focusing on key technologies of seedling delivery and picking systems, future development directions and countermeasures have been proposed by integrating recent research findings and addressing existing challenges.
