Abstract:
Tianjin City is an important modern metropolis in northern China and a core area for coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.Meanwhile, artificial intelligence(AI)technology is leading global agriculture toward intelligent and precision development.AI technology has empowered rapid agricultural development in Tianjin City.However, it faces many challenges in developing urban agriculture, such as limited land resources and insufficient labor force.Application process of AI technology in agricultural sector has been reviewed, with a focus on analyzing of smart agricultural machinery and equipment application in scenarios such as large-scale field operations, facility agriculture, and characteristic planting in Tianjin City.Analysis covers main aspects including smart tillage and land preparation machinery, precision seeding equipment, smart plant protection equipment, smart greenhouse control systems, and smart harvesting machinery.Research has shown that intelligentization progress of urban agriculture in Tianjin City has achieved phased results.However, shortages persist in aspects such as technology integration, human resource training, and widespread promotion and application.Suggestions are proposed to address these shortages, covering enhancing intelligentization level of agricultural machinery, improving technical service system, and promoting collaboration among industry, academia, and research institutions, to provide a reference for high-quality development of urban agriculture in Tianjin City.
