Abstract: Driven by Dual Carbon goals, straw returning has become a core measure for agriculture green development．As core carrier of technological innovation, strategic layout and transformation level of patents directly determine core competitiveness of straw returning industry．Patent data related to straw returning technologies have been selected as research object．By comprehensively applying patent metrics and SWOT analysis, development trend of China's straw returning industry has been systematically analyzed．Targeted strategies in areas such as optimizing patent layout, improving transformation mechanisms, tackling core technologies, and promoting regional collaborative innovation have been proposed to promote China's straw returning industry transformation and provide technical support for agricultural green development and dual carbon goals realization．
