Abstract: Structure of space electric field，characteristics of cowpea，planting seedlings methods，planting cultivation and management measures before or after planting were introduced.Furthermore，the impact of space electric field on cowpea yield，single fruit weight and fruit shape index were recorded and analyzed.Results showed that compared to the control，cowpea field increased 24.7%，single fruit weight increased 2.3 g，and fruit shape index was generally higher.So the installation of space electric field can better promote the growth and development of cowpea.
