Abstract: Successful application of Delta active reactive power compensator of SVG2000 series in board welding workshop of an agricultural machinery enterprise group was expounded.SVG2000 series could improve utilization rate of electric energy in welding workshop，and at the same time，it could reduce power loss.This case demonstrated efficient application of SVG2000 series in fast changing load distribution system.SVG2000 series perfectly compensated reactive power of distribution system，reduced harmonic content of system，and improved utilization rate of more than 30% transformer.In addition，SVG2000 series could effectively reduce reactive power loss of distribution system，transmission line loss and transformer loss，etc.A certain energy-saving emission reduction was achieved.SVG2000 series would have typical application promotion value in agricultural machinery enterprise.
