Abstract: Agricultural robots are an important form of automated and intelligent agricultural development．Research status of agricultural robots at home and abroad were analyzed．Typical applications of agricultural robots were introduced．Advanced technologies and assignment style of foreign agricultural robots in visual image processing, multi-sensor fusion, autonomous navigation and end effectors were elaborated．Finally, existing problems and development trends of agricultural robots were summarized, so as to provide ideas for research, development and commercial application of agricultural robots in our country．
