Abstract:
The water consumption of agricultural production in China is high. The traditional agricultural irrigation water management system has problems with water rights management and administrative management in irrigation areas, which cannot effectively control agricultural irrigation water and meet the current demand for resource conservation and efficient utilization of resources.The article analyzes the current problems in agricultural irrigation water use in China, proposes measures to improve the clarity of property rights, strengthen market management, and institutional safeguards. At the same time, it proposes water user association management models and public-private partnership management models for administrative management to promote the effective implementation of agricultural irrigation water management.
