Abstract: The automatic weather station is equipped with a large number of sensors and electronic components. Due to the high integration of electronic equipment, low insulation strength of electronic components, weak withstand voltage ability, anti electromagnetic interference ability and anti impulse current ability, lightning electromagnetic pulse is easy to cause damage to electronic equipment. This paper discusses the lightning electromagnetic pulse protection of automatic weather station, and formulates the corresponding protection measures.
