Abstract: Plant Recognition and Growth Regulation is a professional basic course for the major of Flower Production and Floriculture in the horticulture majort of Shanxi Forestry Vocational Technical College. Guided by industry needs and driven by typical tasks,the teaching contents were reconstructed for the ability cultivation and the vocational qualification education. The course lays emphases on the theory and practice integration, covering the professional ability training and the political learning, which lays a foundation for the following professional skills education and also play an important role in the cultivation of students’ vocational ability and professional quality.
