Abstract: The content of seven indexes was measured to evaluate soil Fertility in the farmlands in Zuowei Town. Level of soil fertility was analyzed by method of Nemerow Index. The results showed that the content of total nitrogen was in the high-level;the content of total phosphorus and available phosphorus was in the uper-minddle level; the content of soil available potassium and organic matter was in the lower-middle level; the content of alkali-hydrolyzed nitrogen was in shortage; the pH value was 6.43-8.59. Analyzed by method of Nemerow index, the average Nemerow index of West District of Zuowei Town was 1.01; the average Nemerow index of North District of Zuowei Town was 1.13; the average Nemerow index of Southeast District of Zuowei Town was 0.95.
