Abstract: Dwarfing and dense planting cultivation technology is a high-yield technique. By effectively applying chemical control measures to adjust plant height, enhance stem toughness, increase the number of aerial roots, prevent maize from becoming thin and thin due to high density, low fiber content, and lodging caused by strong winds. At the same time, it effectively reduces apical dominance, controls nutrient loss, and increases the growth and development of female ears. Therefore, this paper briefly introduced highyield cultivation techniques for maize in the field from several aspects such as scientific land preparation, variety selection, reasonable close planting, soil testing and fertilization, comprehensive pest control, and harvesting.
