Abstract: Taking the conventional sorghum Yinuohong No. 4 and hybrid sorghum Yinuohong No. 7 as experimental varieties, the seeding experiments were conducted in 2021 and 2022 respectively to study the effects of different sowing dates on the growth period and yield factors of Yinuohong sorghum. The results showed that with the delay of sowing date, the whole growth period of Yinuo red sorghum was continuously shortened. Through the analysis of yield factors and agricultural gas conditions, it was concluded that the suitable sowing period of Yinuo red sorghum was from mid-March to early April when the temperature was ≥13℃.
