Abstract: Ipomoea batatas is rich in starch, protein, vitamins and a variety of minerals, with high nutritional value, is not only the fourth largest food crops in China, but also the production of starch, vermicels and other important raw materials, with a wide range of economic uses. Taking Yuanqu County as an example, the main technical points of high yield of Ipomoea batatas were introduced in detail from the aspects of variety breeding, field management and pest control, so as to provide guidance and help for local growers in Ipomoea batatas production.
