Abstract: With the continuous development of Chinese economy, the income of cotton industry is also growing rapidly. As a labor-intensive agricultural product, the problems of high planting cost and low efficiency of cotton have become the main factors restricting the process of agricultural modernization and improving farmers’ income. In order to achieve the goal of large-scale and efficient agricultural production, we must vigorously promote information technology and apply it to the construction of modern cotton fields,so as to change the traditional manual operation mode, improve farmers’ information literacy, reduce labor costs and increase economic benefits.
