Abstract: Based on the growth of red vertebra in Litang Forest Farm, it is found that the key technologies of planting management include seed collection, seedling raising, afforestation, tending and management, etc. We should start from creating a suitable environment, doing a good job in shading, selecting non budding Castanopsis hystrix for colonization, ensuring scientific and accurate afforestation density, creating mixed forest, reducing and emphasizing painting, doing a good job in tending in combination with the young age of Castanopsis hystrix, cultivating red vertebrae by using the mode of natural regeneration or budding regeneration, and stage thinning, Improve the quality of Castanopsis hystrix planting management. This paper analyzes the planting management technology involved in the afforestation of Castanopsis hystrix tree in Litang Forest Farm, and defines the key technical contents and matters needing attention.
