Abstract: By investigating the current situation of maize industry in Jishan County, this paper analyzed the decrease of planting area, increase of yield and obvious increase of demand of maize in Jishan County. There are still many deficiencies in maize cultivated land resources, low yield per unit area, low industrialization standard, unscientific production technology and lack of deep processing industry. In the future, should develop and improve agricultural infrastructure, strengthen germplasm resource innovation, formulate industrial standardization rules, improve production technology level and establish new production and management mode, so as to promote the development and expansion of the maize industry in Jishan County.
