Abstract: In recent years, Nanzheng District of Hanzhong City has made long-term development of agricultural machinery construction under the strong drive of a series of policies such as agricultural machinery purchase subsidies, agricultural machinery equipment structure is improving day by day, the comprehensive level of agricultural machinery is rapidly improving, and the role of agricultural machinery in agricultural production has been fully reflected. However, at the same time, the uneven development of agricultural mechanization has become prominent. Taking Nanzheng District of Hanzhong City as an example, this paper introduced the current situation of agricultural mechanization development in Nanzheng District, analyzed the factors restricting the development of agricultural mechanization in hilly and mountainous areas of Nanzheng District, and put forward countermeasures and suggestions to speed up the development of agricultural mechanization in hilly and mountainous areas.
