Abstract: With the development of rural economy and the improvement of farmers’ income, the agricultural production mode and farmers’ lifestyle have also changed significantly. As the main fuel, crop straw has been transformed into modern energy mainly including coal, oil,gas, etc. The traditional utilization value and status of crop straw have dropped sharply, and the waste burning of straw has become an increasingly common phenomenon. How to turn waste from crop straw into valuable has become a new subject for sustainable agricultural development. Based on the investigation and understanding of crop straw in Gaoping City, this paper puts forward some suggestions and ideas for comprehensive utilization of straw for reference.
