Abstract: Taking young plantations of Pinus massoniana in Tongren City as the research object,the effects of different fertilization treatments on its growth and the content of nutrients in fresh needles were studied.The results showed that the average diameter a breast height,total thorax height area,storage volume and fresh needle nutrient content of young plantations of Pinus massoniana were the highest when the application rate of enveloped slow-release nitrogen fertilizer was 2 000 g/plant,and the plant growth was the best.
