Abstract:
In order to clarify the damage effects of compound agrometeorological disasters on corn growth, Liaoning region was selected as the research area, and the meteorological net primary productivity loss index was used to evaluate the impact loss of compound agrometeorological disasters on corn in Liaoning from 1997 to 2023. The results showed that although the negative effects of drought and low temperature on maize were serious, the loss was smaller than that caused by drought alone. In Beipiao City, Kangping County and Jianping County, the loss of maize caused by drought in multiple growing periods was generally higher than that caused by drought and low temperature. By clarifying the mechanism of the impact of different types of compound agrometeorological disasters on crop growth, it is helpful to formulate more accurate and effective prevention and disaster reduction measures to reduce potential risks in the future.
