Abstract: This paper describes a new record of geographical discontinuity（Wuyi Mountain Range-Wuling Mountain Range）: Diospyros diversilimba. The possible reasons for the formation of this discontinuous distribution pattern are discussed. This discovery enriches its wild genetic resources, and is of great value to its improvement, breeding and introduction.
