Abstract:
Using 9 wild Ziziphus jujuba types of fruits in the Lyuliang mountain area of Shanxi Province as samples, the characteristics of wild Ziziphus jujuba fruits, fruit kernels, and kernels were investigated and difference analysis. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between the dry fruit weight and kernel weight of wild Ziziphus jujuba fruit, while the correlation between kernel weight and kernel weight was extremely significant. There was no significant correlation between the dry fruit weight and kernel weight. There are significant differences in the transverse diameter of wild Ziziphus jujuba fruits according to collection types, two types concentrated between 11mm and 13 mm, fruits concentrated between 13~15mm, 15~17mm, and 17~19 mm have cross types. There are three types concentrated between 19~21 mm, and one type concentrated between 21~22 mm. There are differences in flesh content/edible rate among different types of wild Ziziphus jujuba fruits, with one type showing a significantly lower flesh content, while the rest of the wild Ziziphus jujuba types have flesh content ranging from 0.6 to 0.8, with most of them around0.7. The horizontal diameter of wild Ziziphus jujuba fruit showed a highly significant correlation with the horizontal diameter of the fruit nucleus, while the correlation between the horizontal diameter of the fruit and the width of the kernel was not significant. The correlation between the horizontal diameter of the fruit nucleus and the width of the kernel was significant. In actual production, when selecting wild Ziziphus jujuba varieties, different uses can be combined with fruit shape indicators.
