Abstract: In the process of forest cultivation, forest tending and thinning should be adopted to ensure the ecological balance of forest and realize the sustainable development of forest. This paper mainly discusses the significance of forest tending and thinning, analyzes the problems existing in this work, and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures, in order to promote the smooth development of forest tending and thinning.
