Abstract: To judge the use and operation of automatic precipitation instrument, by comparing and analyzing the data of DSG5 precipitation phenomenon instrument from September to December, 2019 in Dalian national basic weather station with the manual observation data.The results show that the data integrity and veracity is high and meets the current operation needs; the instrument has a higher capture rate for observation of precipitation than sleet and snow weather phenomena.
